Description
Summary:In the last decade, several residential subdivisions have been developed in the sub urban areas, specifically in Bulacan to the north of Metro Manila and Cavite in the south of Metro Manila. The trips produced by these subdivisions are not well known. The goal of our research is to generate the latest trip production model that will fit in Bulacan and Cavite only. The model will give a significant relation between the area and its parameters. The objective of this research is to develop a model that can estimate the trips produced within Bulacan in the north and Cavite in the south to find out how these produced trips affect the traffic. The developed models could estimate the trips produced by individual house holds as well as the trips produced by the entire subdivision. The models contained significant variables that affect the trip production of residential areas.
