Description
Summary:Integrated circuit design requires understanding of basic electronics and semiconductor physics theories. Aside from this, it is imperative that students are adept in using an EDA tool. The purpose of this study is to produce a set of easy to follow experimental modules that uses Synopsys as and EDA tool. Eight experimental modules are developed and student respondents were asked to use and rate them according to the following criteria: words used are easy to understand, procedures are easy to follow, instructions are precise and accurate, objectives are satisfied, images are helpful in the flow of the experiments, understanding the Synopsys tool, and understanding how to develop an Integrated Circuit. The summary generally shows that the eight (8) modules are very helpful in learning the tool.
