Geronimo, Emil Jed C., Macaspac, Rene Angelo G., located at Bulacan, is a manufacturing company with the mission of support customers by providing superior products of exceptional value that will help them gain competitive advantage in their markets.. It is one of the leaders of the paper plate industry, which is only comprised of a few companies in the Philippines. This study is concerned with the company's production System. SWOT Analysis was used to evaluate the present production system. After using Analysis, the problem being addressed is the Unmet Demand totaling 4.05% for Kikiam Plate, 4.69% for 9” Paper Plate and 3.74% for Hotdog Plate in the year 2012. It is top priority problem because the demand of the customers was not consistently met and incurred a total of Php118, 608.00 losses in the system. Using a cause and effect diagram, the root causes of the problem were identified. Through comparing the data to the problem specification to the initial cause and effect diagram, two of the causes were validated as the final causes. They were identified to be that the product prioritization scheduling, and machine breakdown. After identifying the root causes, the alternative solutions were generated using KTDA Analysis. For the cause of product prioritization, a new production scheduling method is suggested. Lastly, for the cause of machine breakdown, preventive maintenance was proposed. Full implementation of the proposed solution should result to additional case done in order to meet demand. The annual worth for the proposed solution should result to additional cases done in order to meet demand. The annual worth for the proposed system is Php 54, 685.00 which means that the proposed system is beneficial. The expected implementation of the proposed solution is at the start of the year 2014 in order to strategically observe its effects in a whole year. 2013-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11119 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository M.S.
