Therefore, one way to remedy the concern is to utilize bottom ash by partially replacing sand as fine aggregates in a concrete mix. The proposed research intends to promote the usage of bottom ash by attaining the performance of the coal by-product when mixed in concrete. Two testing methods were considered destructive and non-destructive methods namely compressive strength test and maturity meter test respectively. The strength of all the samples increased and at 40% bottom ash replacement the workability became a dilemma therefore super plasticizer was necessary.
