Personal Software Process (PSPSM) was developed in order to help software engineers to produce high quality software and be able to plan efficiently. It involves tracking development time, lines of code, and defects and using these data to generate graphs and provide organized information that can be used to estimate efficiency development time and size for future development reference. This research will investigate the Personal Software Process to aid in creating the Personal Software Project Assistant (P-SPA), a software that will serve as a tool for software engineers to plan tasks schedules, track metrics and view statistics through graphs and reports. This software will also monitor changes by automatically logging compile-detected defects and lines of code. The project aims to provide a tool that has the ability to synchronize data collection. This document will explain the design, processes and tools to be used to develop the P-SPA.
