The organization provides each child with a loving home, an education and other activities that will help develop their skills so that they may transform into self-sufficient individuals of society (SOS Children's Villages Philippines, n.d). The organizational communication problem of SOS Children's Village was that their target was unaware about the organizations lack of funding. This is considered a problem because the organization failed to successfully communicate and inform their target public. Given the organization communication problem and the data gathered from the communication audit, the proponents organized an event specifically a benefit concert entitle Day in the Life of an SOS Child. The benefit concert was held on August 2, 2014, Saturday, at SOS Children's Village Manila Located at Mindanao Ave. Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City. The event target public were young professionals or suppiies between the ages of 25 and 45 that reside in Ayala Alabang Village. The event goals were to raise awareness about the organizations current situation, gain more donors, and acquire more funds from the tickets sales. The post-event survey, number of gained donors, and income from ticket sales proved that the benefit concert indeed helped SOS Children's Village influence their target public to take action by helping the organization out. Therefore, the event contributed to the resolution of the organizational communication problem that persisted. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11376 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository SOS Children's Villages Philippines Early childhood education--Philippines Child welfare--Philippines Child care services--Philippines Communication
