However, it is still phenomenon that happens, and it's rarity only serves to further increase the impact of it in our society. Through our research, we discovered that the most prevalent factor of this is because of depression and the inability to cope with problems. There are many individuals who go through such stages in their life, and the choice to take one's life always leaves the involved parties severy distraught. One aspect of suicide that is most delved into is the reasoning of the suicide victims. Ultimately, the question of what pushed them over the edge becomes the point of the whole affair, as it sheds light on the true state of the person that he or she could not express in life and did so by taking his or her own life. There are many reasons, interconnected and overlapping, why people commit suicide and as individuals, we are not sure if our actions have contributed to one such decision by another individual. The characters in our film reflect our thoughts on the issue of suicide in a new approach, as well as attempting to understand why certain people who are under depressing conditions choose to take this fatal course of action. 2012-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11398 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Feature films Suicide—Prevention Teenagers--Suicidal behavior Communication
