Alicbusan, Rosemary Noreen C. Ilagan, Maria Gillene T. Magistrado, Joshua Manuel U. The dawn of the information era has captured the essence of accounting in business processes as an efficient and effective accounting information system has become crucial for business entities to make sound decisions. An accounting software contributes towards this cause, and thus, becomes the focus of this study. The technological, organizational and environmental factors are assessed on whether or not each factor has significant association with accounting software adoption. Fisher's exact test was used in conducting a univariable analysis. In particular, relative advantage, trialability, top management, industry and market scope were found to be significant variables. This mainly deals with business relationships, more perceived benefits than cost, trial impact to decision making, top management's sole interest, experience in using other technology, fast access to information and finally, the perceived need of this use due to market size. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11458 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Accounting--Data processing Information storage and retrieval systems--Accounting Computer software industry--Accounting.
