In the town where her relatives reside, Sophia encounters and develops a fondness for Jon, the pandesal boy with contagious warmth and infectious smiles. When Sophia withnesses a murder and Jon loses his mother along with his joyful dispoisiotn, Sophia is thrown off-balance, and is determined to help the boy get past his struggle in response to her own internal struggle. |
