Feraren, Jose Enrique R. Robles, Eileen M. The focus of this study is to see how an all-Filipino web series would fare against international competition on an online platform like YouTube. In the past there have already been several personalities to arise from obscurity because of their unique take on storytelling and making videos. Using these as examples, the proponents chose to fill in an apparent gap in the selection of genres and styles presented by Filipino YouTubers. The proponents chose to make a web series about two time travelling brothers who have the decision to either live in the present. In form, the web series runs shorter than an average TV series on a paper episode basis and may even contain lesser episodes per season. The shortened running time of these videos have their advantages and disadvantages for any creator, for example, the quick loss of interest on the part of the audience or not being able to say enough about the story that is wished to be presented. This video thesis is a challenge to the status quo and an exploration of the possibilities of film in the online world. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11493 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Web site development Web sites--Design Computer software--Human factors.
