The results showed that upper class adolescents have 1) internal, external, and other sources of happiness which reflect their concept of happiness, 2) they use internal, external, and other manifestations of happiness as indicators of happiness, and 3) the sources and indicators of happiness of these adolescents imply the following: 1) Filipino culture has morals and ideals that value the stability and harmony of social relationships, 2) that they value their role in society, and 3) that they have the need to balance all the aspects in their life in relation to self and the others that surround them.
