Description
Summary:This research is an exploratory type of study that aims to know how a childless married man perceives himself after knowing his childless state, the effect of being childless on his relationship with his wife and the ways in which he copes with his childless state. The researchers used the purposive sampling technique in choosing the 12 respondents. In-depth interview was utilized in gathering the data needed. The researchers were able to find out that most childless married men are able to see both the positive and negative sides of their situation. Once they have accepted their childless state, they are able to go on with their lives. They learn to be contented and appreciative of what they have. This also made their relationship with their wives stronger and the support of their family and friends help them cope with their situation.
