The researchers used a purposive sampling technique in gathering the ten oncologists who may either be fellows or consultants from different public and private hospitals. The study is descriptive in nature and used an in-depth interview together with the administration of the Questionnaire to Measure the Concepts of Death of Filipinos. It sought to identify and describe the concepts of death of oncologists as well as their reactions and means of coping with death. The data gathered were used to establish the participating oncologists' concepts of death and how they deal with the experiences of death. It was discovered that they view death more as a process of dying rather than as a function of death. They are able to accept and cope with death by preparing themselves before their patients die. 2001-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11633 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository |
