Obiles, Shelanie C. This study focused on the personal experiences of rehabilitated drug dependents on relapse prevention. The objective of this study was to identify different factors that are considered helpful in preventing relapse for the participants. It also aimed to describe how these factors aided the participants from relapsing. This aim was attained through in-depth interviews with nine male participants who were rehabilitated at the Narcotics Group Drug Rehabilitation Center, Bicutan. They all have completed their prescribed program in the center and were discharged for a year or more. Since the time they were released from the center until the time they were interviewed, they all have successfully abstained from drugs. All of them also joined the re-entry program wherein they either serve in the therapeutic community or employed as security wardens in that center. In the analysis of data, regularities or similar results were put together in appropriate categories. These categories include the preventive relapse factor of the rehabilitation center, social support, employment or organization involvement, religious belief, self-will, and the choice of peer groups to join. 2001-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11658 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
