Description
Summary:To date, assessment of blood flow rate undergo numerous tests. These tests use invasive methods, which, aside from being painful, is also expensive. This study makes use of a non-invasive Doppler sensor. Such a sensor can save time and money. This study focuses on designing a prototype using a non-invasive Doppler sensor for measuring the blood velocity of a patient. The data acquired from the patient is digitized and fed to a computer. A turbo C++ program is written to analyze and interpret the acquired data. Subsequent to acquiring the data and processing, the system can indicate if a patient has normal blood flow upon the supervision of a physician. This discourse would like to downsize the cost and size of the machine and at the same time manufacture it locally.
