Salvino, Ken Brian M. Sy, Erwin Mark T. Computer mediated communications (CMC) has been widely used in the present generation especially among adolescence. With the formation of online relationships through CMC, it is important to research on the development of trust in online relationships since it portrays an important role in relationships. The researcher would like to further explain regarding the development of trust among adolescents through CMC. The approach of this study is qualitative. Therefore, the researchers gathered a total of 9 respondents having a mean age of 19 and were interviewed either personally or through Yahoo Messenger. The gathered data where then content analyzed. As a result, the study indicates the factors in the development of trust among adolescents by means of CMC. The factors are constant communication, disclosure, effort to gain trust, physical appearance, self-presentation, and intuition. This would then complement to the process to develop trust to their partner. In the end, the most vital and important in relationship is constant communication. 2007-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11904 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
