Varquez, Alvin Christopher G. Despite the effort of De La Salle University-Manila in improving the quality services offered to its students, increasing expenditures have always been the key concern of the campus in giving such benefits, being water consumption as one of the major contributors to the costs incurred. In solving this problem, the university has proposed several cost-reduction measures in minimizing the overall costs, and one of them was the reuse of treated wastewater, which was given focus in this thesis. However, implementing the proposal would also project additional costs and would affect the acceptability of the financial and social sectors of the campus. Three wastewater reuse schemes were made to provide alternatives to where reclamation and reuse of wastewater would be implemented: for Velasco Hall, for Miguel Hall and for the University Library. This research provided the financial benefits of the proposal by conducting financial analysis for a twenty year projection and comparing each scheme with the current scheme, disposal of effluents from William Sequencing Batch Reactor. In assessing the acceptability of the proposed schemes, Analytical Hierarchy Process was applied which identified the significant points of the sectors' acceptance. Results have identified, after comparing the three (3) proposed schemes, that wastewater reclamation and reuse for Velasco hall was most acceptable in terms of its short and long term benefits, financially and socially. 2008-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11930 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Water reuse--Philippines--Manila
