The boom of the Internet technology has been an avenue for accessing interactive educational games deployed by producers of educational TV programs. Educational games have also been created for mobile devices. With the advances in the field of mobile phones, the portability of playing games and the interactivity by multi-touch technology makes children's learning through educational games easier and more convenient. However, when it comes to developing these games for the children, there is no authoring tool that would allow easy creation of activities for the mobile without being familiar with any programming language. This kind of tool helps programmers and non-programmers concentrate more on the design of the intellectual content of the activity. MoWAChi is a framework which addresses this problem. It enables users to easily create educational activities by using the MoWAChi WOrksheet Creator, which in a form of a desktop application. After which, the created activities are uploaded to Webmachi, MoWAChi's online repository so that his or her child can play with the activity. Positive reviews on the systems efficiency, usefulness, and ease of use were received from the parents and Computer Science students who acted as testers for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on MoWAChi Worksheet Creator. The testers also deem MoWACHi as a tool that aids children in their learning. For UAT of the MoWAChi iPhone Application, positive reviews were also given by the children respondents of the UAT for the iPhone Application. The children enjoyed, at an average, all the different types of activities. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11953 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
