Summary: | Executive Summary. Anino Incorporated is a corporation that manufactures table lamps made of high-impact plastic. It is located at # 16 Manikling Street, Talayan Village, Quezon City. The proponents conducted a feasibility study to determine the viability of their product, Shades and Spice .
The primary market of the study are the households in the villages in Quezon City, namely: Talayan Village, Grace Village and Damar Village. The secondary market of the proponents are high school students, young urban professionals and students of De La Salle University. The proponents employed the method of systematic random sampling in gathering their data. They made use of survey questionnaires in collecting their primary data. The proponents have a population size of 979 respondents and a sample size of 276 respondents. The Gross Market Acceptability Rate (GMAR) is computed at 68.41%.
In the technical study, the proponents used the assembly line method as their manufacturing process. The proponents have an average plant capacity of 9 units per production day. They have an efficiency of 91.06%. The proponents have a break even point 61 units and a breakeven point in pesos of P 40,308.48.
Legal and Management study, the proponents chose the corporation as their type of ownership. The proponents will use the corporate name, Anino Incorporated. The corporation will exist for a period of ten months, from September 1999 to August 2000. There is a total of eight incorporators and eight board of directors. The total authorized capital stock of the corporation is P 384,000.00.
In the financial study, the proponents were able to come up with P 24,000.00 as their source of financing. The return on assets of the corporation indicates that they are most likely to generate higher income due to a higher asset turnover. The higher the turnover, the better the corporation's usage of its assets.
The social economic study describes the social desirability of the corporation. It allows employment contribution, proper payment of taxes, consumer benefit, economic help, proper waste disposal and employee-management relations.
In the conclusion, the proponents were able to determine that they have a market and a demand for the product, Shades n' Spice. They were able deduce that the project is feasible. The corporation highly recommends the commencement of the project on September 1999. |
