Summary:Executive Summary. Madyikal Inc. is a manufacturing company under the textile industry inclined to produce their unique product, Twelle-de-Sac. Twelle-de-Sac combines the use of both a towel and a bag. It is made-up of 100% cotton with the towel size of 60 X 30 and bag size of 15 X 17 . It provides comfort and convenience to the individuals. The office and plant site would be located at 535 Hen. M. Hizon St., Bangkal Village, Makati. The primary target market of Madyikal Inc. are males and females under the age bracket of 13-20 years old, High School and College with an average monthly income/allowance of P4001-P8000. The proponents used systematic sampling to select the 311 respondents from a population size of 1624. Based on the survey conducted in Bel-Air Village, Kingswood condominium, Torre Lorenzo, Burgundy Westbay Tower, Providence Tower, Madison Square condominium, Tahilan dormitory, La Sallian center and Residencia de Dios, there were 215 out of 311 respondents. A gross market acceptability rate of 69.13% was derived from the survey. Based on the time and motion study and the break-even analysis, the capacity of the company is 56 units a month. With the production cost of P 244.86, it would be priced at P 299 using the cost-based and value-based pricing. Madyikal, Inc. needs to sell approximately 21 towels a month to break-even. The initial capital would be P40000, each contributing P4000 and is expected to earn P 16742.99 in 10 months with a return on investment of 29.51%. In conclusion, the product is found to be viable based on the studies made. The proponents would nevertheless still keep an open mind on the factors that may possibly have an effect on the operations of the business.
