Description
Summary:Fairplay For All Foundation (FFA) is a non-government organizational that helps out of school youth in Payatas B, Quezon City to be better individuals by teaching them basic education, nutrition, hygiene, and discipline. Founded by two British nationals, Naomi Tomlinson and Roy Moore, in Payatas, FFA aims to alleviate the growing number of street children in the area. However, FFA is a having a hard time fulfilling their objectives because the community (Payatas B) is not aware of their existence and their programs. The absence of a concrete awareness plan is a big hindrance to the success of the organization. With this, the researchers proposed a PR plan to help FFA increase Payatas B’ awareness of their existence and programs and at the same time increase the number of children participating in their programs. The main strategy of the PR plan is to make the community of Payatas B in general, aware and participate to get involved with FFA. Considering this strategy, tactics such as football clinics, forums, educational training, print materials, educational materials, posters, and banners/tarpaulins will be used. Thorough research was done on conceptualizing these tactics, as it is essential for these communication tactics to suit the target audience. Researchers also sought the opinion of reputable PR practitioners and other professionals who run non-profit organizations to know which are the most efficient ways in raising awareness.
