Summary:Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. is a social enterprise which contributes to the society and environment through philanthropic, ethical, and economic activities. It engages in corporate social responsibility to accomplish its mission and vision of being pro-poor, pro-environment, and pro-Philippines. Actual CSR activities are being done by Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. because of these philosophies that they are upholding. This study presented related literature reviews on CSR and employee commitment which also include their respective variables. The general objective of the study is to determine if employee commitment is dependent on the employee involvement in CSR activities of Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. because it is important to determine whether investing on CSR activities bears benefits to the company or not. The researchers have constructed an operational framework suitable for the company which emphasizes the relationship between the employee involvement in CSR activities and employee commitment. Nine hypotheses are tested by the researchers and the results show that five pairs correspond to the evidence of dependence between the involvement of employees in CSR activities and their commitment. There is a lack of dependence, however, when the other four hypotheses were tested. At the end of this study, the researchers recommend company to encourage its employees to involve in the CSR activities. As for the employees, the researchers recommend that they involve themselves in these activities and continue to support them for the company to become more successful in accomplishing its mission and philosophies. Future researchers can also consider much information that will improve this study.
