Description
Summary:Linux operating system is an open source program, which allows developers to add new features. File managers are programs that are usually bundled in an operating system. It enables users to manipulate files, share resources in a network, browse the web, and play multimedia files. Linux file managers can be reused and reengineered to create better versions and to allow the addition of new funcationalities. The extensibility issue of these file managers will be the concern of the proposed system. The system to be developed is a file manager that supports add-ons in order to allow extensibility. It will also include the basic funcationalities like file manipulation, web browsing, and sharing of files and resources in a network.
