RSA Cryptography is implemented in FPGA that is interfaced with a secure digital (SD) card reader. RSA is a well-known algorithm that provides security that is difficult to crack. The card reader used is the ALFATxp Development Board. The text file in the SD card will be read, encrypted through VHDL, and write it back to the SD card. The text files inside the SD card would now be unreadable to unauthorized users. The encrypted data can be decrypted through VHDL again then write back to the SD card. This way the original contents of the text files would be shown.
