Summary: | Some of the well-known applications of wireless technology are remote sensing for monitoring and control. Monitoring the status of a certain system is important to maintain its functionality and to be in its proper order. One aspect that needs to be monitored is the condition of water because it is a necessity in our lives and there are living organisms in bodies of water.
In this project, the Radio Frequency Link System will be composed of the following subsystems: the computer-based Control Monitoring Unit (CMU) and two (2) physical Remote Process Transceivers (RPT) relay stations. The monitoring system starts with the sensors (temperature, level, and turbidity) of the RPT stations. The sensors are programmed to gather data to be transmitted whenever a command is sent from the CMU. When the user enters a command in the CMU, it will command the RPT stations to report their present status and then a data will be sent back to the CMU.
With this system, one can have additional Remote Process Transceivers depending on its need but keep in mind the distance between the stations. The range can be easily extended and be able to expand the area that will be covered.
