Summary: | For fire fighters, responding to a fire related emergency in fastest possible time is very important in determining the success of their job. The main concept is: the sooner they arrive, the sooner they can put out the fire. When fire fighters arrive on the site early, they can control the fire more effectively because the fire is may grow bigger as time passes by. Another important reason is when fire fighters arrive early the destruction to property is kept to a minimum. There are several factors that delay the deployment of the firefighters, some of which can be aided by computer to lessen the delay or if possible, eliminate the delay. In this project, the group plans to aid the firefighters in their delay problems by providing automation for their street locator and routing problems. |
