Description
Summary:Cryptography's fundamental task is to provide confidentiality by encryption methods. Secret sharing is a cryptographic concept for data security. It involves splitting information to a number of shares, which are part of the fundamental basics of visual cryptography. Visual cryptography on the other hand, presents a way to make the message indistinct by using images. It can be an alternative approach in sending secure text messages and it involves different techniques for information hiding as compared with the conventional approach. This study will use secret sharing schemes in an application for specific mobile phones that will employ confidentiality and discretion to send text messages through MMS. The application will embed the text message into the image and then encrypt it. The receiver who also has the application installed on their mobile phone will then decrypt the file. This will make it less susceptible to hackers or ran unprivileged third party.
