Scheduling being a key element in enterprises, solutions such as Microsoft's Exchange server and Oracles Collaboration suite has been made to address this problem. There are cases however when these solutions are not applicable, such as with people who are in the same enterprise. With the near market saturation of mobile devices (Hunt & Warrier, 2002), scheduling system that can operate without the use of remote servers, aiding people who would like to schedule appointments with their peers instead of their workmates, or perhaps new contacts met in seminars and conventions, stand to be useful.
