Summary:It is in our human nature to desire the best in our physical attributes. And the center for this attribute is mostly determined by the face. Recent technology allows cosmetic surgeon to modify human face to improve facial features and attractiveness. Through this research, advancements in the field of cosmetic surgery will be developed with the use of knowledge in Computer Science technology. The research will involve creation of a system that will evaluate a person's face based on a mask developed by Dr. Stephen Marquardt and also provide the surgeon a toolkit in which one could one edit the digital image of the face applying changes suggested by the result of the evaluation. The research will include applications of digital image processing and concepts of geometry and proportionality.
