Description
Summary:Various cryptographic techniques are applied extensively for the encryption and concealment of sensitive information- to ensure the security of data. Two of specific branches of cryptography are symmetric key cryptography and asymmetric key cryptography, both of which use secret keys for encryption and decryption. This research will focus on these two areas of cryptography by developing an application which will hide and encrypt certain scenes in a video file within the file itself, after which, it can be shared on the internet. Symmetric key cryptographic methods will be analyzed and used in hiding scenes from unauthorized viewers, who can still access the other unencrypted scenes in the video. The research will also apply asymmetric key cryptography algorithms to allow users selective access to the encrypted scenes."
