Yu, Benedick U. It is indeed a fact that communication is one of the most important aspects in our lives. Cellular technology is the most common form of communication that people use at present. Almost all of the people have cellphones which they use to stay in touch with their relatives and friends. The most common problem that cellular subscribers encounter is having poor reception in some areas. This may be due to the fact that signals tend to change its polarization as it is propagated. Since cellsite antennas are dual polarized, receive and transmit antenna are either vertically or horizontally polarized. With the new antenna design, circular polarization is employed to ensure that the polarization of the signal would not matter since it will be received by the antenna. Another novel feature of this antenna is having the ability to reshape its radiation pattern. This is very helpful because when the owner of the antenna would opt to vary the radiation pattern of the current antenna, he must buy a new antenna with the radiation pattern that he desires but with this antenna design, the radiation pattern can be changed without having to buy another antenna. 2009-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14466 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Antennas (Electronics)--Design and construction
