Inquiring about Real Estate properties can be quite a tedious job. One usually checks out information regarding a property (location, price range, number of bedrooms, etc.) through the use of the internet, newspaper ads and listings, flyers and brochures, and the like. As such, using these said tools can become time consuming. And people who are usually too busy with their work and other activities would not be able to allot time for this anymore. This thesis, entitled PC-Based SMS Database Query System with Configurable Embedded Server for Real Estate Application, aims to provide convenience in this area. This ProjectSMS system, which includes both hardware and software, will have the capability to process real estate queries by people through SMS (text messaging). The system will be implemented using two main modules the PC module and the SMS module. The former will contain the Database, the Database Management System (DBMS), and the Configuration Manager. As for the latter, it will be composed of sub-modules such as the GSM modules, the Multiplexing module, and that of the Embedded Server (Rabbit Core Module) module. With this, people who are living the fast-paced lifestyle, the ones who are in a hurry, or simply those who want quick access to information about real estate properties, can obtain the answers they need anytime, and anywhere.
