Automated training belt cutting machine
The study presents an automated timing belt cutting machine. The mechanism enables timing belt to be cut precisely based on user input values entered in the software user interface. The cutter moves along an X-Y axis controlled by stepper motors, while the driver shaft and the cutter is each propell...

The mechanism enables timing belt to be cut precisely based on user input values entered in the software user interface. The cutter moves along an X-Y axis controlled by stepper motors, while the driver shaft and the cutter is each propelled by a single-phase capacitor-start asynchronous motor. The cutter edge is position and mounted against the roller shaft wherein the timing belt is stretched out for maximum cutting efficiency. Recognition accuracy is 80% on the automated method within a ± 1 mm tolerance. 2003-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14496 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Cutting machines Belts and belting Programmable controllers |
