Summary:The study aimed to determine if there is a relationship between organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. This mainly focused on the hospitality industry found in Malate, Manila. The study used Deshpande, Farley and Webster's model of organizational culture. Organizational effectiveness would be in terms of profitability, sales growth and growth assets. All in all, the study collected a total of 45 respondents from selected hotels and restaurants in Malate, Manila. The data were analyzed with the use of Pearson's Chi-square. With the use of df=2, p=.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the type of organizational culture and organizational effectiveness in hotels and restaurants in Malate, Manila.
