Summary: | The study looks into the factors that affect the decision of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to engage in entrepreneurial activity. A Logit estimation, a form of econometric regression for estimating outcomes or probability, was used in the study. The OFWs' savings, age, education, and gender positively contribute to the decision to engage in entrepreneurial activity. Remittances and work experience are seen to negatively contribute to the decision while job type was dropped. Analyses of the effects of the variables were given followed by recommendations to the government and the private sector. |
