It relies heavily on manual labor in almost all its operations and processes. An example of these processes is the manual counting of fingerlings. From nurseries where the fry are grown to fingerlings, the fingerlings are counted manually just to have a number that will be used as a reference for selling the fingerlings to the fist farmers. This transaction between the breeders and the fish farmers usually involves hundred thousands of fingerlings. This thesis aims to introduce automation technologies in the process of counting the fingerlings. Fingerlings will just be poured on to the machine where it undergoes single filing and separation processes. Then just as the fingerlings are about to exit the machine through an opening at the bottom, sensors sense them for counting. All of this is done without harming the fingerlings. 2001-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14523 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Digital counters Fishes--Counting Fisheries--Equipment and supplies
