Summary: | In the past, bottlers had to result in performing every step in the bottle filling process by hand. A single line would normally consist of three people a filler, a labeler and a capper. This is a fairly slow process which required a long familiarization process for the laborers (3-4 weeks). Considering the modern trend to hire by 6 month contracts, this would mean slowing down the rate of production 1/6th of the time.
Because of the enormous start up cost to this industry, a good number of local bottlers have had to resort to producing their drinks the old way. Meaning, filling, capping and shrink wrapping are all done by hand. This in effect limits the amount of drinks produced, significantly slowing down a company's growth.
Low cost machines will open doors of opportunities for small businessmen, who use manual processing. This will result to a more efficient bottle filling process in terms of accuracy and uniformity of the liquid content. Decreasing the cost will also increase in the competitiveness of the produced product in its profitability and market costs.
Thus, the Semi-Automated Bottle Processing Machine will cater to this need. Performing the shrink wrapping, filling, and capping in one machine will cut the costs and will benefit the small aspiring businessmen in the bottling industry. |
