With the groups view of the future of the gaming industry ... virtual reality gaming, the group decided to mix PC gaming, RC gaming and Virtual Reality gaming into one. The prototype of this study is a regular RC vehicle improved by equipping it with a wireless camera for the user to see what the RC is seeing through the monitor of a computer. With this type of vision system, the realism of the gaming takes place. Another improvement for adding realism in the gaming is the racing wheel type of joystick. The user will then control the vehicle with the said type of joystick. With this type of joystick the user will feel that he or she is driving a real car. Another improvement is the transfer of control from the regular Radio Controller to the Computer. PC Gaming now takes place. Instead of controlling the vehicle through the old regular controller, the controls now comes from the computer. This now results to the PC Controlled Car with Real-Time Vision System. Virtual reality + RC Gaming + PC Gaming = A gaming for the future. 2004-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14597 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Computer games--Programming Computer vision Virtual reality |
