Acquiring cheap and affordable alternative medicines have been the continuing struggle of the Filipinos. With the high medicinal costs here in the Philippines, many entrepreneurs, businessmen, small scale industries are in a study to make use of the abundant resources of the country to make and deliver cheaper medicinal alternatives. Making this more prevalent or widespread is to have great resource of research knowledge and developed technological aspects which the Filipinos currently lack. This study aims not only to promote the slowly but efficient growing herbal industry in the Philippines but to bridge the gap between the research & development and the actual development of the technology that hinders the fully development of the industry. By introducing a low cost, efficient herbal capsule filling machine, comparatively more affordable to the imported machines gives more opportunity not only to entrepreneurs but Filipino consumers as well. The project will be divided into three processes: Orienting, Filling, and Encapsulating. The orienting and decapsulating process will prepare the capsule for separation of the cap and body of the empty hard gelatin capsule. While the filling brings the dosing powder into the cavity of the capsule and lastly encapsulating it back through joining the cap and the body of the capsule. The automated herbal capsule filling machine is assured to work hand - in - hand with the commercial imported capsule filling machines. 2008-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14603 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Herbs--Therapeutic use Capsules (Pharmacy) Drugs--Equipment and supplies |
