De Vera, Maria Cristina P. Iranzo, Kristoffer Edward C. Salva, Pierre Albert L. The study aimed to determine high yielding investment plans available in Metro Manila where professional Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Saudi Arabia would be interested in venturing in. The rational for this study was to be able to positively contribute to the improvement in the lives of Filipino overseas contract workers and their families. Chronological procedures were followed to meet the objectives. The profiles of the Saudi Arabia - based OFWs were gathered to come up with factors affecting their abilities to invest. Survey forms were distributed to Philippine Oversears Employment Administration (POEA) renewing applicants and to Filipino professionals currently in Saudi Arabia. Statistical tools were used to measure the risk and returns of different available financial market investment alternatives. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a newly developed decision making technique which allows for the rational evaluation of pros and cons concerning different alternative solutions to a multi-goal problem, was performed cautiously as to accurately analyze the data from the respondents, particularly their investment preferences. The risk-return calculations, a proven and widely accepted investment measure, and the AHP product resulted to the same output. The Peso Equity Funds (PEF), a Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF), a highly yielding investment matched the preferences set forth by the professional Filipino temporary migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. 2006-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14624 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Investments, Foreign--Philippines Investments--Philippines Filipinos--Employment--Foreign countries
