| Summary: | Due to the setbacks brought about by the manual processing of thesis in the ECE Department, especially in the setting of defense schedules and selecting of appropriate faculty members, the group aims to develop a system that will answer the need for this automation and an efficient system. This system has four main users namely: the administrator, vice-chair, faculties (advisers and panelists) and students. Each user has different access level of the features of THESSA. The system is web-based, meaning that any registered user can access it through the internet.
PHP and MySQL were the core programming languages used in implementing the system. PHP was the interface language used in the submission and retrieval of information from database. MySQL, on the other hand, was used as the database management system handler of the program that handles all the records and information that were processed. |
