Description
Summary:In this project, the proponents implemented an Energy Management System that dynamically adjusts the energy supplied to an automatic weather monitoring station by automatically adjusting the active sensor loads connected. The energy management system adjusts the parameters through the use of PIC16F877A microcontroller which serves as the intelligence of the entire system. The intelligence unit adjusts the energy supplied by taking in the factors of battery level, solar potential and historical solar data received in an area to send a control signal to a switching network which in turn disconnects or connects the sensor loads of the automatic weather monitoring station.
