總結:Nineteen children aged 5-11 years, belonging to English as Second Language program and representing level A of English language proficiency, were used as the subjects of the study. The study aimed to establish the possible influences and relationships of the factor's age and sex of children, their previous exposure to another foreign language, the language of their mother tongue and the bilinguality of their parents on/with their acquisition of English as second language. The statistical analysis established the sex and age of children and the language of their mother tongue influenced the acquisition of English as second language. Previous exposure to the target language was also found to have made a difference in language acquisition.
