Description
Summary:This paper presents the Queueing Theory particularly the (M/M/C:oo/oo) models in relation to the Jackson Network, a mathematical theory geared towards investigating and analyzing the service efficiency of particular sets of operations. The processing of NBI Clearance application forms is used as an actual case illustration, where the applicability of the Queueing Theory was established. The last chapters discuss the actual application of the Queueing Theory to the NBI Clearance scenario, including gathering, testing and treatment of data techniques and analysis.
