Description
Summary:The paper deals mainly with the graph of the more common polar curves. However, supplementary data such as the cartesian equation of the curve, the area and the intersection of two curves, are also provided. Its main objective is to offer effective visual aids to students. A program is written using Turbo Pascal 4.0. This program is able to graph different curves, from a simple straight line to the complicated Spiral of Archimedes. Other functions include converting polar equations to their corresponding cartesian equations, computing for the area of an enclosed curve, and finding the points of intersection of two curves. This user-friendly program is designed to provide aid without the complications of computer literacy.
