Description
Summary:This study is based on the data gathered from the Family Income and Expenditure Survey (1985 and 1988, Final Results). Applications are made to the key cities around Metro Manila. The purposes of the study are to determine the extent on income inequality among the families living around the key cities of Metro Manila and to determine the degree of consistency of Dagum distribution in much smaller scope of inference such as the key cities around Metro Manila. The data were analyzed using the Non-Linear Least Squares estimation which gave sufficient results needed to say that there is relative income inequality in Metro Manila. This is made possible using two software packages Time Series Processor and and Econometric Package for Income Distribution.
