In line with this, a software package was developed that would construct mortality tables through the Seriatim method and the Moving-Weighted-Average (MWA) Graduation method.Initial estimates for the rate of mortality are produced through the Seriatim method. These initial estimates are further revised through the MWA Graduation method to produce a better and more accurate estimate. This revised estimate will be considered as the rate of mortality in the mortality table. |
