Summary:This thesis presents a detailed discussion of the first three chapters of the book Coding Theory the Essentials by D.G. Examples and illustrations are presented to support the different theorems, definitions and algorithms discussed in the above-mentioned book. Finally, proofs were provided to the theorems in the book that were stated without proofs.
