Julian, Joanna P., Yam, Genevieve M., Engagement in sports entails more than skills and strength. Coach's motivation must also be present in order to bring out the best in every athlete. This paper tackles the different ways by which coaches motivate their athletes, the variables accounting for the difference in the motivation techniques, the theories of motivation underlying in the coach's technique, and the implicit techniques that are believed to be Filipino. An exploratory-descriptive study was conducted to be able to come up with a pattern from the respondent's answers.
