Insurance products in the Philippines cater to both sexes, thus disregarding the distinction between males and females. Consequently, the identity of being a female is easily taken for granted. Having overlooked by the insurance companies, this paper develops an insurance product exclusively for females.Interviews from actuaries and insurance agents, surveys from women of different occupations, and analysis of benefits from this market research are summarized and shown because inputs from these factors are critical to the design phase. To be beneficial to the insured female, rigid computations are made for the pricing of this insurance product. Concepts that are based on actual setting and experiences are incorporated from the theoretical concepts to be more realistic. For easy comprehension, examples are provided to each section using the 1980 CSO Table for male and female lives and numerical comparisons between males and females and between types of valuation standards are discussed.
